Pattern Note: If you take a look at the picture, you’ll see the center of the scarf has a bit of a raised texture. This is simply done by working “wrong side up”, or with wrong side facing, for a few rows before continuing with “right side up”; as noted in the pattern instructions.

About the sizing: There is negative ease to the finished fabric and therefore the finished size is closer to 6” than the working width that adds up to 7.5” (notice the center ridge creating some tension in the photos). The scarf could be wet blocked and pinned after stretching to create a width of 7.5 (or more) if desired. The denser, thicker fabric, however is the intended design and steam blocking to retain the negative ease is therefore recommended.
