These socks were designed by request for friends of mine who were getting married. I love being able to give handmade gifts, especially when they are useful. Having visited the newlywed’s apartment in upstate New York, I knew these would be appreciated and well-used. Having finished the socks on the car ride to the wedding, they are also a quick knit. They can be knit in alternate colors, saving on yarn, or all in one color. Honeymoon is not required.

Quantities of yarn are to make two pairs of socks in alternating colors.
