Be sure to use the proper yarn. Thick-thin yarns come in all different thicknesses. You can’t go wrong if you order from: www.1azcolorworks.etsy.com or www.1akashazeropointcolorworks.artfire.com

This cocoon’s design has something over the other hooded cocoons you’ll see. The back is open, so the baby sneaks in the back door. MUCH less troublesome to the little treasure you’re trying to keep asleep! And for larger babies, the open back works like a charm to make these cozy photos possible for them, too. My granddaughter was 11 lbs. in these pictures! There’s no way her sweet little rolls would have entered through the front.

I can’t wait to see YOUR pictures, with a more moderate newborn inside!

Happy knitting!
