“Pram coat” for babies approximately 3-6 months old in basketweave stitch.

Uses 5 oz Patons Quickerknit Baby Wool in Pale Blue 912 and 1 oz of same in White. One pair each No 10 (3.25 mm) and No 11 (2.75 mm) needles. A No. 13 crochet hook (2.25 mm) for edging. 3 pearl buttons.

Finished width round underarms, 21 inches; length from shoulders, 10.5 inches, sleeve seam incl. cuff, 6 inches.

Tension: 7 sts and 9 rows to an inch over stocking-stitch on No. 10 needles.

Made in pieces from the bottom up and seamed with raglan armholes and front facings, so that the buttons are inside. The hood is made separately and sewn on.
