About sizing: if at all possible, take measurements of the child you are making these pants for so that you can get the best fit possible. Meausure over the cloth diaper if you’re using them.

This pattern does not feature a gussett. I have used the pants for years without one and never felt like anything was lacking. The great thing about knit fabric is that it is stretchy and accomodating. If you would like a gussett, you will have to improvise as others have done.

This pattern is written by someone who is not a professional knitwear designer. It was not tech edited or test knit, just simply written to the best of my ability with the intention of sharing.

Please look over the pattern before you cast on to make sure it will work for you. If you have any questions or suggestions or notice errors or flaws, please feel free to message me. I will be more than happy to help out if I am able.
