This pattern was originally published under the name Walnut Square, in the printed Haverhill Collection leaflet. It now appears in the book MODERN COUNTRY KNITS as Hopewell Mitts.

A single cable traveling up the slightly slouchy hat and fingerless mitts make this set a stylish pair and a fun knit.
