Description - Hopscotch Top Down - P286

An easy to knit top down cardigan is a great project for the beginner. A simple but effective moss stitch pattern produces an interesting edge & cuffs to the design.

Two options for the sleeves are included:
Option A -- (Sleeves knitted flat)
Option B -- (Sleeves knitted in the round).

This is a great pattern for the beginner knitter who is ready to take the next step.

Cleckheaton 8 Ply Australian Superfine Merino
130 m (142 yds) / 65 gram.
Yarn colour in featured images (green/grey version) -- Lichen #75.

A -- 125 grams -- 250 metres -- 275 yards
B --140 grams -- 280 metres -- 305 yards
C -- 155 grams -- 310 metres -- 340 yards
D -- 175 grams -- 350 metres -- 380 yards
E -- 215 grams -- 430 metres -- 470 yards
F -- 255 grams -- 510 metres -- 555 yards
G -- 300 grams -- 600 metres -- 655 yards
H -- 350 grams -- 700 metres -- 765 yards

NEEDLES REQUIRED
4mm (US 6) circular or straight needles.
One set of 4mm double pointed needles.

OTHER MATERIALS
4 stitch markers.
darning needle for sewing in ends.
1 button.

TENSION
21 sts / 30 = 10 cm (4 in) worked in stocking stitch on Size 4 mm (US6 : UK 8) needles.
