You will need:

• DK Yarn (Light-Worsted / 8ply) - I used Stylecraft Special DK (Double Knit)
• 3.5mm crochet hook - creates a 23cm toy (16cm seated) (you can change your toy size by using a different yarn weight and hook size)
• Stuffing (I find high-loft polyester stuffing works best)
• Yarn/tapestry needle
• Scissors

Skills required:

• Magic ring
• Crocheting in a spiral
• Double crochet stitch (US = single crochet), slip stitch, chain stitch
• Increasing and decreasing
• Changing colour
• Crocheting into back loop only (BLO)
• Sewing pieces together
• Sewing on details (e.g. face details)
