Knit a mini horse with this easy pattern accessible to beginners. You could knit one for a farmyard, a Noah’s Ark, a Cowboys-and-Indians set or as a pony friend for a knitted doll.

We have separate patterns for a rider, saddle & bridle, saddle-blankets and rugs - check our other Snoo’s Knits listings.

Size: The horse stands approx. 12cm tall (4¾ inches). If you’re looking for a larger toy, please see our unicorn pattern (23cm/9in tall).

Difficulty: Easy

Stitches used: kfb, k2tog, p2tog

You will need:

• Knitting needles – I used UK size 11 (3.0mm, US size 2.5)
• Tapestry needle
