Smallish rocking or no rocking horse. It is sift toy, which can be enhance by using pair of sticks to make it more stable and more playful. Decoration is by your choice - embroidery, choice of yarn, colours ….
Yarn – about 40g of sock weight yarn all together

  • stitch marker - use your preferred way to mark beginning of the round – locking stitch marker, pin or waste yarn
  • 4 dpns – 2.25 - 2.75mm for sock weight yarn (make sure that your fabric is tight enough to cover filling inside)
  • for filling (stuffing) – by your choice about 30 - 40g
  • cotton thread – black, about 30cm, to make eyes (you can use small buttons instead)
  • tapestry needle
  • for making rocking horse you will need two slightly bend sticks or canes, and two smaller one, straight, to join them, string or piece of yarn for tide them up (see the picture) and for tie the horse to the frame. Final size of toy – app. 23cm made of sock weight yarn with 2.25mm needles
