The Hospital Patient Tea Cosy was designed to be a fun and a bit of a joke tea cosy depicting a sick and injured person. I gave the character as many clearly visible injuries as I could, so now he looks very worse for wear.

The hospital patient has a broken arm, a leg in cast using a crutch to walk, a bandaged head, a high temperature and he’s wearing an operating gown as well, and we all know the problems of NHS hospital gowns. Around the back their bottom is on show.

It’s a fun tea cosy that is fun to make and I thought it would appeal to people in the medical profession or people who were accident prone. I also thought it would make an alternative get well soon gift.

The hospital patient tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting it very soon!
