Hot Buttered Rum Hat

Loom Knitting
February 2015
Bulky (7 wpi) ?
3 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch
in garter
90 - 100 yards (82 - 91 m)
two options, fits most adults

This is a loom knit pattern.

A pretty plaited cable surrounds this hat. It looks lovely in both solid and variegated yarns. Two size options are given. If you want a hat that will come down to cover your ears entirely, choose the larger cast on. For a smaller brim, covering the top half of your ears, choose the smaller cast on. The cables are easy to make and will not hurt your hands.

Loom: 5/8 inch gauge, 25 or 28 pegs flat knit

This pattern is part of The Cozy Cable Collection, an e-book containing six coordinating patterns. The e-book contains both a large print (24 point font) and paper-saver (12 point font) file, as well as a full photo gallery and a section on variations for your patterns. The patterns are tablet and screen reader friendly.
