Total of approx 120 grams of DK (light worsted yarn) oddments in different shades.
1 pair of 4.5 mm needles (UK/Canada/Australia no.7/US no.7)
7 or 8 Poppers, either sew on or non sew. Or some stick on Velcro.
For the optional chain stitch decoration you will need approx 3 metres of Aran weight (worsted) yarn in contrast.
A wool sewing needle.

TENSION/GAUGE
Tension is the size of the stitches formed - the size of the stitches affects the size of the finished product.
The tension for the cover is 16 stitches and 22 rows to 10cm square measured over stocking stitch pattern using 4.5mm (UK/Canada/Australia
no.7/US no.7) needles and double strand of yarn.
The yarn has approx 7 wraps per inch when wrapped double. (This is a good way to check that you have the right yarn if you have lost the labels.)
