As you can see, this is a 2 color triangular shawl that was made using stranded knitting technique, for Houndstooth design lovers.

For this sample I used:
  1. Needles:

    • a set of circular needles in US 7/4,5mm with one cord of 32” (80cm);
    • tapestry needle for weave in ends;
  2. Yarns :

    • 3 skeins of M(ain) C(olor) DK weight 100% cotton yarn, in black (“Tango”, St. George, Serbia, 125m~137yds /50g); In total ~375m/410yds (150g);
    • 2,5 skeins of C(ontrast) C(olor) DK weight 100% cotton yarn, in beige (“Tango”, St. George, Serbia); In total ~320m/350yds (125g);
    • You can use your favorite (tightly stranded), solid or colorful, thinner DK weight yarn and needles. Achieving exact gauge is irrelevant.

You need to be familiar with stranded or Fair Isle knitting.

Dimension (measured after blocking, flat, fixed):
Length from the neck to “peak” – 60cm / 24”
Flat widespread - 150cm / 60”
