This cardigan is worked from the bottom up, includes a steek and is adjustable in length. There is no waist shaping. The sample is a cropped version but the Floral pattern can be repeated to add length in the body. If you are going to knit a full length cardigan you must choose a bust size above that reflects your waist measurement. Although there is armhole shaping, the cardigan has a drop shoulder look, the armhole shaping takes away a little bulk that sometimes happens under the arm on standard drop shoulder designs. The sleeves have little shape to them and have rapid decreases towards the cuff for a slight balloon shape. The sample holds a strand of mohair with CC1, this is optional but adds a lot of warmth. While working, the garment will seem extra stretchy and slightly smaller than finished size, it is very important to wash and block afterwards to let the full color work garment relax into it’s final shape.
