Pattern Description from Knitting New Mittens & Gloves: “These arm warmers feature a composition of three different patterns: houndstooth in two sizes and a herringbone pattern. The colorwork pattern is reminiscent of rustic tweedy cloth; but worked in this wool/alpaca blend yarn, it has subtle chiaroscuro haze from the long fibers. The arm warmers are worked flat, and edged with a crab stitch crocheted edging. The suede lacing instills the design with an equestrian quality.”

Finished Measurements: Approximately 5.5” wrist circumference; approximately 9” forearm circumference; approximately 8.25” long, including edging.

Note: Since Arm Warmer laces up, circumference measurements are adjustable.

Yarn: Nashua Handknits Creative Focus Worsted (75% wool / 25% alpaca; 220 yards 201 meters / 100 grams): 1 ball each #0410 espresso (MC) and #2120 brick (A)

Needles: One pair straight needles size US 7 (4.5 mm). Change needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Crochet hook size US 7 (4.5 mm); 3.5 yards (3 meters) suede cord.
