This hat was improvised by me when i tried to find something to match a houndstooth scarf i had just made but nothing i searched for was quite right. I only made it my size(small-22 inch head) but increased stitches( only in increments of 4 to go with pattern) would work too. You need two different colors a main color and a contrast color for this pattern. You need one skein of each however you will have quite a bit left of the contrast color.
