The ideas for these hats came to live as I wanted to design a hat for us to wear, to support women and make a statement towards women being bullied and sexual harassed. That way the #metoo hat came to live in another pattern.
This is the #howiwillchange pattern for the hat men could wear to give support and make a statement.

A hat with construction elements described both in text and chart. You cast on with two needles held parallel, leaving one needle with cast on stitches on, join in round, use the “lock the round” technique and knit back side of hem.
A purled border makes the hem fold nicely.
Pattern has chart for letters, and chart and written description for body and top of hat.
