This is a super easy convertible hat/cowl. The cowl tucks into a coat for optimum warmth. The hat is closed with an elastic hair band and can be completely closed or your hair can come out through the top.

Disclaimer: This pattern does not include gauge information. After knitting the ribbing/bottom edge of the hat, try it on: the ribbing should comfortably go around your head. If it’s too tight, go up a couple needle sizes & reknit. If it’s too loose, go down a couple needle sizes & reknit. My apologies – my next pattern WILL include gauge measurements!
