Hrotswitha is an ultra-light, thin bolero, featuring a dramatic lace back panel and a wide front band that adds further visual interest. It’s an ideal garment to cover your shoulders when you need just a bit of added warmth, while also adding interest to an outfit.

The pattern itself is straight-forward and easy to knit. The bolero is constructed by first knitting the back lace panel and then blocked to the correct size. Sleeves are then picked up from the side edges of the panel, and the front band is worked from the outside edges.*
