Pattern Description from Interweave Online Store: “The Tao of cables - the RIVER cardi/vest is made up of simple cabled strips, pieced together to create a garment that’s not much harder to knit than a scarf. With deep aprin pockets, ribbed accents and a self-tie, this style is nautical and Zen-like all at once.”
Finished Size:
- Small (Medium, Large, XL)
- to fit Bust: 34 (37, 39, 42)”/86.5 (94, 99, 106.5)cm.
- Length: 23 (23.5, 25, 25.5)”/58.5 (59.5, 63.5, 65)cm.
Yarn: Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham River (90% cotton, 10% cashmere; 103 yd 95m/50g): #05 azure, 8 (9, 10, 11) balls.
Yarn weight: #4 - Medium
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st on #8 needles.
Needles: Size 8 (5mm) straight and Size 7 (4.5 mm): circulars, 16”/40cm and 24”/60cm long. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers, cable needle (cn), crochet hook F-5 (3.75mm), yarn needle.
