The Hudson Lace Wrap was designed by Bonnie for Amazing Threads for the MN Yarn Shop Hop 2020 that was cancelled due to the pandemic. Decades was the Hops theme and Amazing Threads was set to celebrate the 1890’s. The first Sherlock Holmes short story was published in Strand Magazine in 1891, “A Scandal in Bohemia.” Mrs Hudson, for whom the shawl is named, was the landlady of the Baker Street residence of Holmes and Dr. Watson. lived. Read the rest of the story on the front of the wrap pattern.

The wrap was designed for Amazing Threads by Bonnie. The wrap has a unique shape and is long enough to be worn in multiple ways while keeping you warm on any cold and misty evening in London.
For those who don’t like lace work, there is an alternative pattern to substitute for the lace section.
