A hug monster is an important addition to any household. He always has his arms open, waiting for a hug. He’s big too, around 9.5” tall and 15” from hand to hand. Because his features are made of felt, you can really have fun making him (or her) look just the way you want.

For an INTERMEDIATE KNITTER. The hug monster is mostly knitted flat on straight needles using short row shaping (fully explained in the pattern). The hands are knitted in the round from picked up stitches and contain increases and decreases. There is only one sewn seam.
