The Hummingbird Dickey is a fast, fun, low yardage knit, perfect for tucking in your Spring Jacket or slipping on before an early run!

After the Colour Pop yarn arrived I went on a little hunt and found a picture on Instagram that the dyer @Yarnenabler shared of her colour inspiration. It was a beautiful hummingbird.
I was aiming for a slightly different shape but when I got to what felt like the end and tried it on, I had a dickey.
So (after some support from my IG lovies) I went with it!
Then I had to knit a second one in some lovely @CrookedKitchenYarn for a more neutral (but still delightfully speckled and fun) variation.

Worked inside out, this pattern features a reverse stockinette background for the wide lace panel. This is also a chance to try German Short Rows. It was my first time using them and they were definitely more fun then doing the same old wrap and turn thing.
