My son handed me his favorite book of the Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and asked me to make it a scarf…so I did.

These colors are merely suggestions based on the color scheme of the Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. If you wish to obtain a longer scarf, merely add more sections.

The body of the caterpillar is worked from the inside out as a tube utilizing rows of stockinette and reverse stockinette to create segments of the body.

Color B – Cascade 220 Superwash Paints #9885 or yarns with green/yellows

Approximately 10 yds of red and scraps of yellow and black yarn
