Hunter’s Moon is constructed from tip to tip with a stockinette stitch body and a lace edge that is knit as you go. The lace edge features a row of leaves among a gently curving trellis lace pattern.

Pattern includes both written and charted instructions. The pattern also includes instructions on how to modify the size of the shawl to use up all of your available yarn. This pattern has been professionally tech edited by Katherine Vaughan.

Thanks to my sister, Tracy, for modeling. Pictures were taken at Lake Vesuvius and the Vesuvius Furnace in Lawrence County, Ohio. More information about Lawrence County Furnaces can be found here. It’s a neat little piece of history.
