This knitting pattern was inspired by the hurricane season here on the east coast. The stitch pattern in the hat swirls around creating a ripple. Designed with a bulky yarn this hat pattern knits up in a flash. Making it great for last minuet gifts or a weekend project. Because of its slouchy shape and wide ribbed brim you can fold up the ribbing for a more fitted hat and extra warmth around your ears.

This hat pattern is suggested for intermediate knitters as the decrease is a bit tricky.
