Hyben means rosehip in Danish. This pattern was inspired by the rosehip bushes that grow both around my childhood home and my current home.

Gauge

This pattern only has one chart. Instead of adding or removing stitches, I ask you to change your gauge in order to change the size of the finished mitten. I have included information about how within the pattern.

The sample mittens were knit with a gauge of 36 sts x 36 rows on a 2.25 mm needle, however your gauge is most likely different from mine.

Yarn

The sample uses Holst Supersoft and Holst Coast:

MC: Holst Supersoft Bleached White (50g)
CC1: Holst Supersoft Sloe (7g)
CC2: Holst Supersoft Elderberry (7g)
CC3: Holst Supersoft Damask (7g)
CC4: Holst Supersoft Sweet Pea (7g)
CC5: Holst Coast Petal (7g)

Note that you will not need 7 grams of yarn for each of the CCs, so if you have a mini skein that is slightly underweight you might still be fine.

This pattern has been fully test knit.
