This beanie pattern can be worked in any Aran weight yarn. Debbie Bliss Fez is a great choice if you find the Icelandic Lopi
too harsh.
2 x 50 grams of yarn is needed in the colour of your choice.
The red and black sample here is worked in Debbie Bliss Fez and the purple sample is worked in Ístex Létt-Lopi.
The pattern in relatively simple and would suit an intermediate crocheter.
