This pattern is strictly for fun, so any combination of hook and yarn will work (although it is probably better if the stitch is on the tight side.)

But I bet these would make good scrubbies - and kitchen scrubbies would be a good way to use up that acrylic yarn that you hate but feel bad about throwing away….
