I Dream of Lapland is a fair isle slouchy hat worked in two colors of Backyard Fiberworks Sock. The colors remind me of the quiet, magical place where Husband had wanted to go since he was a kid to meet the real Santa. When we arrived, he went for a walk in the dark and reported a little grocery down the road and a hill for sledding. Later, we went for a nice quiet walk under the stars in -25C air to the “grocery” which turned out to be a Marimekko Store. He has never lived it down and I still dream of that magical place, which turned out to be beautiful and not as cold as one might think but the sauna in our hotel was a mandatory naked one!

Come to the Indie Untangled trunk show and choose two colors for this hat at the Backyard Fiberworks booth!

The pattern is written with the fair isle shown in chart form.
