Errata: For the arms and legs, the stitch pattern should be k2tog and not kfb in Row 10. This is also true for Row 11 in the legs. The pattern file has been corrected as of 2:30 pm PST on June 1, 2011.

There is a typo in the table for the mouth on Row 19. The final number of sts remaining is 0 (zero), not 30. The pattern file has been updated as of July 26, 2011.

This pattern was inspired by the Amineko crochet cat pattern. This pattern includes a knitted version of a cat and a dog, based on how the ears and tails are knit.

Any weight yarn can be used for the pattern. Suggested needle sizes for DK weight are size 4 or 5 and suggested weight for worsted yarn is 5 or 6.

Size of the completed cat or dog will vary, but is approximately 14-15 inches in length.
