With Winter coming, I long for days when I’m at the beach, and that reminds me of my trip to Grand Cayman where sea turtles ran wild. I loved them, they have re-populations farms there, and watching the sea turtles is amazing. I love a warm cozy hat that reminds me of summer vacations in the middle of winter.

This hat is available in both a worsted weight and a fingering weight version. The Worsted weight version is sloucher and warmer than the fingering weight version.

**ERRATA - USE THE SMALLER NEEDLE FOR THE RIBBING, THEN SWITCH TO THE BIGGER NEEDLE*****

Worsted weight version calls for US #7(4.5mm) & US #8 (5mm) needles, DPNs or circulars. Fingering weight version calls for US #4 and US #5 needles.

For this hat you will need 3 colors - a main color (blue), Color A (white) and Color B (Green)

I’m certain you can substitute yarn weight in the worsted version and make the hat smaller, but I haven’t tried it yet. If you do, I’d love to hear about your results!
