I loved a hat my friend wore on a recent snowboarding trip so I set out to find patterns to help me make something similar. The body is made up of stitches from the Harmony Guides Cables and Arans book. The brim is based on an example I found online at: http://rosi-g.com/soapyknitter/2008/01/12/si-capitan. I did not like the bind offs on the brim so I changed mine to BO all on one row. Over all very fast and easy to make, takes between 6 and 8 hours.
