I Love Purls Shawl
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Depending on how large you make this, some people call it a shawl and some a shawlette. It is knit from the bottom tip up.
Yarn - 11 ounces of main color (1100 - 1200 yards,) and 5 ounces of contrast color (500 - 600 yards.)
Any size yarn, with appropriate needle size, may be used.
A variety of yarns may be used, but the two yarns should be of similar diameter and have a lot of color contrast. If one is slightly smaller that the other, the smaller one should be the contrast color.
Fine fibers like Cashmere, Alpaca and Silk are not recommended for the main color; but work very well for the contrast color.
