This pattern includes 4 options:
cardigan and vest, zipper and buttons

I two one is a warm outdoor jacket or vest knitted seamlessly from the top down. The I-Cords give a clear structure and definition to the garment. Before you begin, you need to decide if you are going to fasten the garment with either buttons or a zipper, as you start with the double knitted collar in different ribbed patterns.
The back is then knitted by casting on the shoulder stitches. The fronts are then picked up from the cast on edge of the back shoulder stitches. Neck shaping is done with German short rows. The side pockets are incorporated into the fronts as you knit them. After the body is completed, you next work the chosen method of fastening the garment.
At this point the vest is now finished. However, if you are making the jacket, you will then finish the garment by knitting the sleeves seamless.

Sample is shown in Size L: The Border Mill - Alpaca Mohair in Pumpkin as main colour and Alpaca Tweed in Distressed Oatmeal as contrast colour.
