I Wear A Bowtie Now is a colorwork cowl worked in the round. As shown in the sample, the pattern is written for six different colors of bowties, but it would also look great in only two different colors as well.

As written, the background/Main Color uses about 225 yards, and the bowties/Contrasting Color(s) take approximately 70 yards.

Pattern size can easily be adjusted by adding/subtracting repeats.
