Inspired by the island of Ibiza, the twisted linear stitches emphasize a vertical wavy design surrounded by clusters of bubbles.

Pattern is worked in two halves then grafted together and does not require blocking. However, wet blocking will enhance the twisted stitch pattern. This pattern can be worked in any yarn weight and the length can be easily adjusted.

Finished size: Wrap: 20” x 93” blocked, 11” x 80” unblocked.
Scarf: 7” x 72” unblocked

Any Yarn weight can be used: see photos of an Aran weight (lavendar) and a fingering weight yarn ( rust) used and shown unblocked.

Materials used
Yarn: Lace weight, Wrap 1100 yards, Scarf 420 yards
Model: Miss Babb’s, Yasmin, 80% Merino Wool & 20% Tussah Silk, 1250 yards, sample used (total of 22 repeats, less repeats will shorten the length and the amount yarn needed)
Needle size: US. #3
Stitch markers and Row counter (optional, but highly recommended).
Blocking pins

Gauge in laceweight = 15 sts = 1 7/8“ unblocked in pattern stitch, stretches to 2 ¾” easily
