This pattern was written for any big time hockey fan. You can wear them over your skates, over your skinny jeans, or tucked inside your boots. Another great pattern to help keep you warm during the game. Legwarmers are worked in the round. You can use magic loop, DPN, or 16 inch (40.5cm) circular needles.

Finished Circumference: (At the widest part of your calf UNSTRETCHED) – 14 (15, 16) inches / 35.5 (38, 40.5cm) Shown in size 14 inches with no ease (on a 14 inch calf) Small, Medium, Large

Yarn: Berroco Vintage™ Worsted / 10 ply (9 wpi) 50% Acrylic, 40% Wool, 10% Nylon 217 yards (198.4 m) / 100 grams.
MC 2 skeins – 240 (260, 280) inches / 220 (238, 256) meters
CC1 1 skein – 35 (55, 75) inches / 32 (50, 69) meters
CC2 1 skein – 55 (75, 95) inches / 50 (69, 87) meters

Needles: 1 24”/60cm or longer US 7/4.5mm circular needle and 1 24”/60cm or longer US 9/5.5mm circular needle. Double point or 16 inch (40.5cm) circular needles may also be used.
