Inspired by the grooves left on ice by figure skaters, the cables on Ice Glider appear to be random at first, but follow a pattern, growing from smaller to larger and undulating from right to left. These socks are simple enough for a beginner cable project, and perfect knitting for watching those Winter Games – simple enough that you can keep your eyes on the action, but with enough patterning to keep the socks interesting too!

Instructions for heel and toe are included, but it would be easy to insert your heel or toe of choice.
