A light, lacy, soft, snuggly, textured bottom-up v-shaped shawl that can be worn as a wrap or as a scarf. I named it “Ice Wine” because the bobble texture reminds me of little grapes (especially in the beautiful “Mauve” yarn pictured) and the “Cool Gray” edging is reminiscent of little icicles hanging off! And it’s a far prettier name than “Grapes of Wrapth,” as I was originally going to call it ;)

You can make this shawl any size you’d like -- there’s a simple four-row repeat that will take you through the main body, and the edging is crocheted around afterward based on that. You’ll get pretty decent mileage out of this pattern, but if, like me, you like to use up the WHOLE skein, you could do that too. Photos of the first few rows are included with the written instructions to help you start out, along with photos demonstrating the blocking process I used.

In addition to a cozy sock weight yarn, you’ll need a 3.00mm or 3.25mm crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors and blocking pins.

Gauge isn’t really important here. Play around if you want to use a different weight yarn for this -- it just might work!
