What happens when the Cathare Shepherds (Bergers cathares) meet an Icelandic knitter? A beautiful Icelandic shawl is born, knitted with the natural wool from the Pyrénées’ sheep. Knitted with this rustic wool in natural colors, this lacy shawl will suit both men and women.

Shawl is knitted from the top down with charts.
Pattern was updated in february 2016 and now also have written instructions. The new PDF ends with 2-1. The update has been sent and should find it in your library.

Shown in Alpage yarn from Bergers cathares: 25 g = 100 m, shawl uses 6 skeins in all, 3 of each color.

A Gilitrutt (Icelandic lambswool) kit is also available here.
