This pattern is available for free.

Knit this simple and elegant shawl with large needles, big yarn and a minimal amount of time. Then use the finished product as an excuse to get a new shawl pin. The lace pattern is easily memorized for fast knitting and (almost) instant gratification. And the pattern is FREE!

Materials:
1 Skein Crazy Sexy Wool (100% Peruvian Wool) by Wool and the Gang, color: Stonewash Blue
1 set of US size 19 Addi Turbo circular needles. (I bought the 24” in case I ever want to knit a super-bulky hat in the round).
1 tapestry needle
1 yoga mat (haha!) for blocking

Pattern Notes:
Gauge: 7.5 stitches and 8 rows = 4”
Scarf measures 46” long and 9” wide (middle of leaf measurement).
Please be comfortable knitting on bulky circular needles, knitting lace patterns, etc. Also, don’t be surprised if you run out of yarn. I used 86¾ yards and just had enough to weave in. Luck of the Irish, I guess… You can knit a longer shawl or scarf. Just buy more yarn and repeat the “Main Body” part of the shawl until you are almost to desired length.
