I designed this gown for my son’s baptism with three Christian fish (ichthys) running across the front. It includes a double eyelet row before the lacy skirt begins. You can run a ribbon through the middle eyelet around the tummy if you choose. There is an option of beading around the cast on edge and first two rounds of lace.

Size: approximately 6 month (23” chest circumference, 25” overall length)

Materials:
Yarn: 3 skeins of Kraemer Sterling Silk & Silver. 3.5 oz/420 yards each.
12 buttons 3/8” diameter
Needles: Size US 8, US 6, US 4, and US2 circular needles (24” or greater), and US 2 double pointed needles.

Gage: 7 cm = 20 sts on size 2 needles
