Thrums or Fair Isle? Pattern includes instructions to make thrummed mittens or a Fair Isle only version.

Material needed:
Both versions:
Worsted weight yarn:
184 (224, 276, 331) yds of MC
47 (56, 61, 69) yds of CC 1

Thrummed version:
20 (23, 26, 29) yds of CC 2
130-200 thrums

Fair Isle only version:
30 (35, 40, 45) yds of CC 2

Difficulty: Advanced or motivated intermediate knitter - provisional cast-on, working in the round, stranded colorwork, knitting with thrums.
