Ida Socks
Ida is a sock featuring a charming lace pattern that runs across the entire front of the sock and the upper part of the
sock’s backside. The sock has a well-fitting shadow wrap heel, which is incredibly easy to knit. The sole of the foot is
worked in stockinette stitch. We’ve knitted the sock using our soft and durable Önling No 18, which is made from 75%
non-superwash wool and 25% recycled PET (plastic) bottles.

Instructions
Ida is knitted from the cuff, down over the heel, and the
foot, finishing with a rounded toe. The sock is worked on
circular needles using the magic loop method, but you
can, of course, knit it on double-pointed needles if you
prefer.

A sock with a shadow wrap heel consists of: ribbing, cuff,
the first and second halves of the heel, which are worked
with twin and triplet stitches, the foot, and the toe.
