Idris Fingerless Mitts - this is a very quick and simple knit. There are basic shaping requirements. This pattern is excellent for first time knitters who aren’t familiar with reading charts, knitting through back loops and shaping the thumb.

These can be knit to fit whatever your hand size requirements are by simply using either a heavier weight yarn, or increasing your needle size.

I used (1) skein of Knitpicks gorgeous Hawthorne Kettle dyed yarn in color Goddess. My needles of choice are Knitter’s Pride - Karbonz in US 1; 2.25mm. I had almost a half of skein left for to knit a plain hat to go along with these mitts! Please use the yarn of your choice in fingering weight to ensure proper fit.

I hope you enjoy knitting these mitts!
