From the pattern description: “The Isa rune symbolizes ego-mania, blindness, treachery, illusion, and deceit. The negative traits of betrayal, guile, stealth, ambush and plots are also associated with it. Dolores Umbridge personifies all of these things. Living under the illusion of a girly, soft-spoken woman she is, in actuality, a deceitful manipulator. Perfectly comfortable in falsifying whatever necessary to keep her facade intact. The Isa rune is centralized in this pattern, as deceit, betrayal and illusion are central to the character. The almost-hidden diamond pattern is set to symbolize her sense of self-worth, as well as her ability to keep people wondering just what they aren’t seeing.”

This pattern is one part of a 12 pattern set of Ancient Runes Sock Patterns.
