Two simple heart designs for a 25th wedding anniversary, which can be hung on the wall or used for small cushions.

The heart with the circle is similar to the squares in our Love Hearts Blanket, although this heart is designed to be viewed from the side and those in the blanket are viewed from the bottom.

The hearts shown in the photos were made with DK yarns but any yarns can be used. A thicker, or thinner, yarn may change the size of the squares.

The heart with the circle is approximately 35 cm (14”) when stretched over a board. It uses about 95 metres (105 yards) DK in each of two colours, with extra needed for a facing to attach it to a board.

The other heart is 30 cm (12”) when stretched and uses about 65 metres (70 yards) of each colour.
