Perfect for keeping your hair off your face, without providing the heat of a hat, knitted headbands are a winter wardrobe staple.

In a Twist (at the top of the image) features a pretty moss (seed) stitch border and a cable that’s manageable even for those new to the technique.

Bow is a simple garter stitch design, shaped using a smaller garter stitch band which is made separately.

Both styles are quick and easy projects that make ideal gifts.

Instructions are given to make headbands to fit an average adult head, with a variation to make the Bow design for a child.

You will need 6mm needles and approx 70g/70m of chunky yarn for each headband.
